PRIDE (Planning Rural-Urban Integrated Development Through Education) India is a non-profit organization which works to improve the lives of marginalized individuals living in India. To date, PRIDE has impacted the lives of over 1.5 million individuals in over 605 different villages by providing access to educational, rehabilitation, and health and sanitation related resources.
YouTopia has previously partnered with PRIDE in 2014, with our “Bowl and Bring a Smile to a Child’s Face” and “Diwali Gala” events. We are excited to continue our collaboration with PRIDE to promote its efforts for mitigating the social and healthcare related ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately impacting migrant workers in Mumbai. So far, PRIDE has provided over 9975 food and hygiene kits, 1205 health kits, and 16000 masks to those in need.
